Responsible Service of Alcohol Scotland (SCRSA)
If you sell or serve alcohol within Scotland, then from
September you must be trained and have a training record to do so
"The Scottish Certificate for the Responsible Service of Alcohol".
This is necessary because of changes in the law which makes these requirements part of
licensed trade responsibility - a regulatory requirement - to help keep Scotland safer
and healthier.
Employers will look for the relevant qualifications when they are appointing new staff
for the licensed trade. They also expect their existing staff to have these
qualifications.
